Julianna Mitchell was introduced to Yoga as a child by her mom, who practiced then in the Kripalu tradition under Amrit Desai. She is certified to teach Vinyasa style Hatha Yoga in the Om Yoga tradition, Restorative Yoga by Judith Hanson-Lasater and Pre-Natal Yoga with Janice Clarfield. Julianna is en route to being certified as a doula (a labor companion/coach) and has begun studying the Yoga teachings of Mukunda Stiles. She is grateful to her many Teachers, her cats and husband inclusive.
Julianna feels Yoga is a sanctuary-playground for exploring body, mind and heart. Her classes begin with a breath-centered meditation, to calm and focus our minds. They are often organized around an alignment theme, to deepen our awareness of our bodies. And are generally held without music, to foster our ability to pay attention to the subtleties of what we feel. She teaches from the premise that Yoga returns us to who we are at our essence — the joy, wellness and ease is that is our birthright.

Due to the small size and special nature of certain classes, the following series require advance registration: Prenatal, Postnatal, Mommy and Baby, and Mommy and Toddler.
PLEASE NOTE: Class cards are non-transferable and non-refundable. Three month, six month and yearly unlimited cards may be frozen one time for a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of one month. No other class cards may be frozen. Please note that all class cards have expiration dates.
* Intro special is good only for regular yoga and pilates classes. Cannot be used for prenatal. Student/actor discounts are not available for intro special cards or prenatal classes.
