Deanna holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. She performed professionally in Seattle for four years and moved to NY in 2005. Since moving here, she has performed in many Off-Broadway shows. She is also a jazz singer and has performed in many venues in Harlem and Manhattan. Deanna has always practiced pilates as a way of keeping in shape, relieving tension, and rehabilitating and rebalancing the body. Living in NY , it is very challenging to find time to take care and take time for yourself inside and out. Deanna has found pilates to be invaluable to her well-being and decided two years ago to become an instructor to help other individuals to become the best they can be physically, mentally, and spiritually. She received her certification from Half Moon Pilates in Brooklyn, NY under the instruction of Lawson Harris. Deanna is thrilled to be joining the Yoga Room family!
